Who We Are
We are Bible believing Christians who are committed to teaching and applying Biblical truth.
Churches have a responsibility to continue the teachings of Jesus.
From the first century church in Jerusalem to the American church today, churches have had an obligation to demonstrate and share these Biblical truths in a powerful and compelling way.
Paul’s words to the New Testament churches communicate this mandate.
Romans 12:1-21; Ephesians 1:15-23; 4:1-16; Philippians 2:1-18; Colossians 1:3-14, 28; 1 Thessalonians 1:2-10
As churches obey, radical life changes occur for all who hear the truth and believe Jesus Christ paid the payment of sin by His death and resurrection.
The Church at Tampa is committed to teach, apply, and live Biblical truth in every aspect of daily life, both as individual followers of Jesus and as a congregation.
We are devoted to obeying the Scripture in the local context of our lives together as His Church.
Acts 2:42-47
It is our prayer that through our obedience to Jesus’ commands and teachings, those outside the community of Christ will come to know Him.
We pray others will be drawn to an authentic relationship with Him through the Biblical truth being lived out and His love for others being expressed.
Matthew 22:34-40; 28:18-20; John 13:34-35
The Church at Tampa is, and will always be, committed and devoted to teaching sound Biblical doctrine and proper application of Biblical truth.
We are committed to following the leadership of the Holy Spirit now and in the days to come, regardless of perceived cultural norms, so that the church may reflect and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ both locally and globally.
1 Thessalonians 1:2-10; 1 John 4:1-4
