Men’s Campout

Join us for a rootin’, tootin’, shootin’, good time!

Once a year the men of TCT come together to camp in tents, fellowship around a fire, shoot guns, and, most importantly, discuss God’s Word!

The event starts on a Friday evening and concludes a Saturday afternoon.

Time & Location

Date: February 21, 2025 - February 22, 2025

Time: 5:00 PM on Friday to 3:00 PM on Saturday

Food & Beverages

Food

Cowboy style meals will be provided on Friday night, Saturday morning, and Saturday at noon.

You may bring your own food or snacks if you would like.

Beverages

Water, tea, lemonade, & coffee will be provided.

Feel free to bring any other drinks you would like, but no alcoholic beverages!

Safety

If you plan on participating in the shooting activities, you must follow the following rules!

  1. Guns must stay in your vehicle until the range is set on Saturday morning.

  2. No pointing a firearm (loaded or unloaded) at any person or any direction other than down range within the range boundaries.

  3. When you’re not shooting, all firearms must be on tables, in designated areas, pointing down range with the chambers open and mags out.

  4. Anyone shooting must wear eye and ear protection.

  5. Do not load firearms until you are at the range table and are instructed to do so by the range master.

  6. Do not fire your gun until given permission to do so by the range master.

  7. Obey the range master at all times!

The range master will provide additional instructions for all individuals who wish to participate in shooting firearms prior to the event.

You must receive training from the range master in order to participate.

What to Bring

  • Tent - some people also prefer to sleep in their vehicle

  • Cot/Air Mattress

  • Sleeping Bag/Blankets/Pillow

  • Warm Clothes

  • Flashlight/Headlamp

  • Deodorant

  • Snacks (optional)

  • Toilet Paper - porta potty will be on site

  • Toothbrush & Tooth Paste

  • Bug Spray & Sun Block

  • Foldable Chair

  • Soap/Hand Sanitizer

  • Bible

  • Pistol or Rifle (optional)

  • Lawn games such as corn hole, horse shoes, football, frisbee, etc. (optional)

Tent space may be available for those who cannot bring their own. Coordinate with Stephen Grow if you need a tent.

Parking

When you get to the property, follow the path to the right of the house. Keep driving past the house until you see the parking area to the right.

Facilities

A porta potty will be on site. Be sure to bring TP!

Who Can Come?

Men and boys of all ages are welcome, but children under the age of 12 will need a parent or chaperone to be present for the duration of the event.

Additional Information

Donations of cash, food, or beverages or lending of equipment such as chairs, tables, or tents is appreciated. Please contact Stephen Grow if you can contribute.

Anyone who can arrive early to help set up sections for tents, parking, and shooting it would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Stephen Grow if you can help set up.

Be respectful of the owner’s who are generously allowing us to camp on their property.

Be sure to clean up after yourself. The property needs to be left in the state it was in before the event. Anyone who can stay a little after to help clean up would be greatly appreciated.
